WhatsApp users are expressing dissatisfaction with recent color changes.

It is becoming more challenging to keep up with the frequent updates being rolled out on WhatsApp. Recently, a new app update featuring a prominent green color, particularly on iPhones and Android devices, was released to more users on Thursday (18). However, this alteration faced criticism on social media platforms.

WhatsApp introduces fresh colors and surprises its users.

Last year, Meta (formerly Facebook) began making changes to the WhatsApp interface, including introducing a menu bar at the bottom for Android users and incorporating green elements for iPhones.

Now, an increasing number of individuals are receiving these notifications on the iOS app. Android users have also experienced the update, with feedback suggesting that the app now features a brighter green shade, particularly noticeable in dark mode, which some have likened to a “radioactive color”.

Users on social media, particularly on X platform (formerly known as Twitter), voiced their unhappiness with the new appearance and desired the reinstatement of the blue elements. View some of these posts.
