LG has ceased selling its notebooks in Brazil, as observed by visitors to their website searching for notebook models, who instead find monitors, digital slates, and various accessories available for purchase.

LG plans to make changes to its line of laptops in Brazil.

The company has decided to halt the sale of its notebooks in Brazil until at least 2025, as confirmed by Leonardo Almeida, senior manager of the LG IT product line, in an interview with the Tecnoblog portal.

Almeida stated that the choice was made to enable a reconfiguration of the manufacturing process in order to enhance the competitiveness of the LG Gram line in the Brazilian market against competitors like Samsung Galaxy Book, ASUS ZenBook, and Dell XPS. LG is seeking new partners to supply crucial components such as SSDs, GPUs, circuit boards, and power sources to facilitate the resumption of production at the Manaus factory.

The company is taking advantage of the pause in the notebook market to concentrate on other sectors in Brazil. LG has broadened its range of monitors across various price points and has launched highly praised wireless OLED TVs. Furthermore, the South Korean firm is still pushing the boundaries in home appliances, introducing new air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing and drying machines. Recently, they unveiled a new 18 kg washer with integrated artificial intelligence.
