Meta has been introducing enhancements to WhatsApp, such as a forthcoming new sidebar for the web version. Additionally, a new feature in the app enables users to produce images using real-time artificial intelligence by simply specifying their desired creation.
Artificial intelligence integrated on WhatsApp
The feature is currently available in the beta version of WhatsApp, but only for users in the US, according to The Verge.
To utilize the artificial intelligence tool, simply click on a specific button on the interface to initiate a chat with Meta AI. You can then enter a text prompt beginning with the term “imagine”.
A user inputs the command “imagine a football game on Mars” in the shared example from Meta. As the user continues typing, the generated image transitions rapidly from a regular football game to an entire football field within a Martian setting.
The latest feature on WhatsApp, which is called “Llama 3”, utilizes advanced AI technology. This new feature, released recently, marks a notable improvement in functionality compared to previous versions. Apart from enhancing image clarity and quality, this AI is capable of transforming photos into GIF animations.
When is the official release date?
WhatsApp has not yet announced a specific release date for the artificial intelligence tool for all users, but it could be available in the near future, depending on the testing process in the beta version.
